For parents after separation

Build a life that works on the days you have your children and the days you don’t.

Rebuild Mode is a structured 12-week programme for separated and divorced parents. Three small actions a day, matched to whether the children are with you or the house has gone quiet. No mantras. No “winning the breakup”. Just steady, practical progress.

01The two modes

Two kinds of day. One steady plan.

Separated parenting means living two alternating lives. Rebuild Mode reads your parenting schedule, knows which day it is, and shapes each day's actions to match — so neither life gets neglected.

The house has gone quiet.

This is the time the plan protects: your health, your people, your place. Small, deliberate moves that stop an empty evening becoming a lost one — and slowly turn child-free time into a life of your own.

Example reminder

The house may feel quiet tonight. Make a plan before the evening begins.

Alternating weeks, alternate weekends, irregular patterns — any schedule, with one-tap overrides when plans change.

Today’s three actions

  • Take a 20-minute walk without your phoneBody · 20 min
  • Message one person you trustPeople · 5 min
  • Clear one surface in the bedroomHome · 15 min

02Six areas

Rebuild on six fronts. Not all at once.

A five-minute assessment scores each area from 1 to 5, and the programme starts where you actually are — usually with sleep, the house and one phone call, not a life overhaul.

01

Body

Sleep, food, movement, and the appointments you keep putting off. Energy first — everything else leans on it.

02

Home

Make the new place feel permanent, not temporary — and ready for the children when they walk through the door.

03

Parenting

Routines, one-to-one time, school mornings that run smoothly. Confidence as a solo parent, built by repetition. Shown as Fatherhood or Motherhood in the app — whichever is yours.

04

People

Friends, family, asking for help before the evening gets long. Isolation is the real opponent here.

05

Purpose

Work, learning, and the interests you set down years ago. Something of your own to build, outside the divorce.

06

Future

Identity, boundaries, money, and a picture of life beyond all this — drawn slowly, on your own terms.

Scores are supportive indicators, not clinical assessments — and they move as you do.

03The 12-week programme

Twelve weeks, in a deliberate order.

Your plan is generated from your assessment, your parenting pattern and the time you honestly have — ten minutes a day or forty-five. Stabilise first. Reconnect early. Ambition later, once the ground holds.

Week 12 isn’t a paywall moment — it’s an independence plan. You review what held, keep the habits that matter, and plan the next ninety days without us.

04The rules it keeps

Built on different rules.

Most apps in this space want you angry, dependent or endlessly scrolling. Rebuild Mode was written against that grain, and these rules are enforced in its content, its coach and its design.

It is deliberately not

  • a dating app
  • a legal toolkit
  • a co-parenting messenger
  • an AI therapist
  • a place to relitigate your marriage
  • 01

    Action before introspection

It doesn't open with “how are you feeling?”. It opens with one thing that would make today five per cent better — and reflection follows action, not the other way round.

  • 02

    No toxic positivity

You will not be told that everything happens for a reason, or to go and win the breakup. Divorce is hard. The app doesn't pretend otherwise — it just refuses to let the hard part be the whole story.

  • 03

    Progress, not perfection

There are no streaks to break. A missed day is a missed day, not a verdict. What's measured is weekly consistency, areas strengthened and small wins that add up.

  • 04

    Nothing about your ex

No revenge, no point-scoring, no analysing their last message. Nothing here encourages hostility, and nothing puts the children in the middle. The plan faces forward.

  • 05

    Designed to be graduated from

Success is not daily engagement forever. Success is deleting the app because the structure now lives in you — your routines, your people, your home, your plans.

05The coach

A coach in your corner. Not a therapist in your pocket.

For the nights when the plan isn't enough and you need to think out loud. An accountability coach that helps you pick the next small move — and knows exactly what it is not qualified to do.

Saturday · 21:14 · Rebuild Mode

I can’t face the empty house tonight.

The empty evening is probably the hardest part, especially when the house has just gone quiet. Don’t try to fix the whole weekend tonight. Choose one: a 20-minute walk, call someone you trust, or cook something and put a film on — without checking your ex’s social media.

Walk. Then I’ll ring Chris.

Good. That’s the evening handled. I’ll ask you tomorrow how the call went.

It knows your week

The coach sees your plan, your recent check-ins and whether you're in Dad Mode or Rebuild Mode tonight — so its suggestions fit the day you're actually having.

Options, not essays

Replies acknowledge the situation briefly, then offer one to three practical moves. No lectures, no life-coaching monologues.

Hard limits

No legal advice, no diagnoses, no strategies for handling your ex. And if a message signals real danger, it stops coaching and points to real-world help immediately.

The app works fully without the coach — the programme, actions and check-ins never depend on it.

06Private by design

This chapter of your life is nobody's data set.

Rebuild Mode handles some of the most personal information there is. It's built accordingly — row-level security, minimal logging, and nothing about your children beyond a nickname you choose.

Start anonymously

No email, no name, no questionnaire about your case. Connect an account later if you want your data to follow you — or don't.

Your words stay yours

Journal entries and coach conversations are never used for analytics, never sold, and never read to build an advertising profile.

Delete everything

One flow, one confirmation, and your account and every trace of your data are gone. No retention games, no guilt screen.

07Questions

Asked, answered, plainly.

Is this therapy?

No. Rebuild Mode is practical structure: a daily plan, a schedule-aware calendar and an accountability coach. If you’re struggling with your mental health, a professional is the right call — and the app will tell you so rather than pretend to be one.

Do I have to write about my ex, or my legal case?

No. The app never asks about your ex-partner, your settlement or your court dates. It’s not a divorce-management tool — it’s about the life you’re building now.

My parenting schedule is irregular. Will it still work?

Yes. Alternating weeks, alternate weekends, specific weekdays, fully custom patterns — or no agreed pattern at all. Every individual day can be overridden with a tap, and the plan adjusts.

How much time does it take?

You choose: ten minutes a day up to forty-five. Three actions a day at most, sized to fit the time you said you had. Nothing is lost if you miss a day.

What does it cost, and where can I get it?

Rebuild Mode is free to begin during Android early access. Join the early access list and we’ll send you the install link — iOS will follow. Once installed, starting is anonymous: no account needed before you’ve seen whether it fits.

What happens after the twelve weeks?

Week 12 is an independence plan: you review what held, keep the habits that matter and plan the next ninety days on your own. The app is designed to be graduated from, not lived in.
